Eating for Mass An Ectomorph Hardgainer Guide to Gaining 20lbs of Lean Mass in a Month edition by Connor Grooms Health Fitness Dieting eBooks

Let me be clear upfront this book is for super skinny guys only. Guys who despite having tried over and over are lucky to hit 140lbs. If that’s not you, this book is NOT for you. If that is you - keep reading.
I’d always been skinny. I didn't break 100 pounds until sophomore year of high school. In 7th grade, I had to stuff my jock with water balloons and sand to make weight for football.
I made countless attempts at putting on muscle. No matter what I tried, nothing worked. I seemed destined to never weigh more than 135 pounds. You can probably relate...
Then, I gained 26lbs of lean mass in 4 weeks.
This book is how I did it. Inside, you'll find
- How to painlessly eat 5000+ calories a day (Pages 43, 49)
- The reason you aren't gaining weight, even if you're eating enough and lifting heavy (page 62)
- How to naturally increase your testosterone for maximum growth (Page 68)
- The complete, detailed food log from my 28 day bulk (Page 80) and recipes for high calorie, non-"junk" meals (Pages 38, 96)
- How to overcome "I'm full syndrome" so you can consistently eat huge meals (Page 28)
- Why high-repetition heavy squats are your ticket to huge gains (Page 23)
- The old-school, cheap-as-dirt supplement that is ideal for post-workout recovery and growth (Page 52)
At the heart of getting big is eating a LOT, which is hard. This book covers what to eat, how to eat, and when to eat it to make getting big easy. It also shows you how to optimize your hormones, sleep, blood, and inflammation for fastest gains.
The prescription in this book is not fun. In fact, it sucks. But for skinny guys who can’t gain weight no matter what they do, it works.
Praise for Eating for Mass
"I have been working with collision sports guys for years. Building Mass is central to their success, so I came up with a six week program, Mass Made Simple. It's a bit of upper body work, some combination lifts, and then high repetition squats. For nutritional advice, I tell them two things Eat Like an Adult and, basically, eat everything in sight.
Few understand what I mean. I mean "a lot." Finally, someone understands this. Connor "explains the obvious" eat, sleep, eat. Force feed yourself. Pour oil on pizza. Chug down protein shakes. Connor's work is the missing link. And, I have to say it again gaining mass is one of the hardest things to do as the shoveling in the volume of food is much harder than most people think. Connor simplifies the process and the thinking behind the food aspect of gaining mass. It is complete, insightful and a "must have" for the mass building client and athlete.”
- Dan John, Author of Mass Made Simple, RKC, and one of the most influential strength coaches in the world.

Not sure what to expect from an author claiming to have gained 26 pounds in a month? Neither was I. You, like me may have expected the author's secret to be some ultra complicated weightlifting routine. Nope. Like Connor says, the book is entitled Eating for Mass rather than Lifting for Mass for a reason (though there is a section that describes the exercise routine you should follow). You're going to stuff yourself for the duration of this program. I was initially turned off by this because I thought I was going to have to shovel down countless tubs of ice cream to create the caloric surplus necessary to put on the pounds. As a health nut I deemed that completely unacceptable. Fortunately, Connor prescribes specific meals and shakes that are probably healthier than the things most of us have been eating. The best part of the book, however, is Connor's tremendous talent at simplifying things without oversimplifying them. Connor is a sharp guy, but at no point does he ever make you as a reader feel dumb. This program is extremely straightforward and at no point will you find yourself confused by academic terms or the parameters he recommends. However, simple does not mean easy. This program isn't a magic pill solution.
After you're done reading this book you'll understand exactly what it'll take for you as a skinny guy to gain weight, but at the end of the day you're still going to have to put in a disciplined effort to see the results promised.

Eating for Mass An Ectomorph Hardgainer Guide to Gaining 20lbs of Lean Mass in a Month edition by Connor Grooms Health Fitness Dieting eBooks Reviews
A claim that gets your attention and awesome content that checks out. I've been an avid biohacker for 2 years trying everything from polyphasic sleep cycles to intermittent fasting. After having a wide knowledge base from many health books and years of experimentation I can say that conners system checks out. Carefully designed for hard gainers the book provides a actionable road map for gaining muscle and QUICKLY!! I've just begun the program and I've already put on around 6lb in the first 7days.. I'm set on betting his 26lb's! A well written and easy to follow guide. An essential for hard gainers.
I've been skinny and got made fun of all my life. I am 33 years old but still have the same weight as when I was in high school (5'8",120 lbs).
Even though I am old enough to accept the way my body is, when I saw Connor's result, I couldn't help but to want to give it a try. After 2 weeks of using Connor's system, I have a completely new perspective of how and what it means to eat for mass. I simply wasn't eating enough to gain weight all my life. In two weeks, I gained 8 lbs which is HUGE for me as this has never happened before. Now I know what it takes to gain weight and if you've had enough of being skinny, I highly recommend you to get Connor's book to give it a shot.
I can tell you, as a good friend, that Connor is one dedicated biohacker. The trials and tribulations he puts his body through to offer the most value to his readers is quite scary at times, yet equally amazing and inspirational. He genuinely cares about helping others achieve the optimal health, lifestyle, and self-actualization they deserve, and his work here is no different. Read Eating For Mass now, and change your life.
I liked the recipe part but the other text was filled with too much broscience and incorrect information.
What type of rice actually do affect satiety. Recommending working out already 1 hour after food is not optimal. Glutamine recommendations...sigh. Massaging muscles releases toxins etc - say what?
This book was entertaining but real science was mixed with pseudoscience and actually confused me as a reader.
This is bad advice that will cause serious health problems. Your better off talking to a professional certified trainer or even better a registered dietician or your doctor.
I'll admit at first I was skeptical that I would be able to use Connor's program. Coming off a medication hat kept me from eating and lifting for six month (due to side effects), I needed a program that let my body hit the gym quickly and hit it hard. Connor's program has prepared me to eat exactly what I need to so I can have peak gym performance and gain the pounds of muscle I lost plus some. Don't hesitate to use his program today!
If you have a slender build like I do, or would simply like to gain more muscle, Eating for Mass will expose you to a plethora of meals, exercises and tips to do just that. I’ve tried a lot of supplements and a variety of different meal plans in the past, but Connor lays out a recipe for success that is very easy to incorporate into your everyday routine. I wish I read this book a few years ago, but now is the second best time. Eating for Mass is definitely a must-read book.
